Using a Garmin eTrext Vista HC, we collected 5 waypoints around Drew University’s campus on October 10, 2019 at 9:45am. The points indicate the light posts on the path from the Rose Memorial Library to the Hall of Sciences. Certain locations are highlighted in the legend to provide context.
It seems that everyone is East Coast concentrated… will this be the case in the future? Stay tuned!
Using the EPA National Air Toxics Assesment, I was able to map the schools in New Jersey that are at the highest risk of carcinogen exposure from air pollution. On the left, the total cancer risk for these schools is mapped with the schools in the top decile indicated by the small blue dots and on the right, we see the schools at the highest risk from waste disposal.
Below is a map of Israel showing armed conflicts by actor for the year 2018. This map specifically shows conflicts that involved explosives and remote violence and we can see the concentration of events surrounding the Gaza Strip.

The LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology was used to create the following two maps that show the elevation of Drew University in 2006. The first map is elevation in feet and the second map shows base elevation which is ground elevation excluding buildings and trees.
Below is aerial imagery from Drew University (New Jersey) in 2015 compared to 2017 and imagery from Capitol Hill (Washington, DC) in 2008 and 2017.
The death rates for motor vehicle accidents involving a pedestrian are displayed below for counties in New Jersey between 2013-2017. Cumberland County had the highest rate with 3.2 deaths per 100,000 people while Atlantic and Camden Counties were not far behind with 2.7 deaths per 100,000 people.
