Using the EPA National Air Toxics Assesment, I was able to map the schools in New Jersey that are at the highest risk of carcinogen exposure from air pollution. On the left, the total cancer risk for these schools is mapped with the schools in the top decile indicated by the small blue dots and on the right, we see the schools at the highest risk from waste disposal.
The death rates for motor vehicle accidents involving a pedestrian are displayed below for counties in New Jersey between 2013-2017. Cumberland County had the highest rate with 3.2 deaths per 100,000 people while Atlantic and Camden Counties were not far behind with 2.7 deaths per 100,000 people.
